At a comfortable distance is Laholm, which has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the town and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. A short drive away is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and small shops and restaurants. To the south, the development transitions to Skummeslövstrand with a summer center with several restaurants, a shop and a bakery. Just south of, you reach the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. To the north you can easily reach Halmstad with its fantastic beaches in Tylösand, its large range of entertainment and all the golf courses. The nearest golf course is Tönnersjö Gk.
